Sorry if this was addressed in the thread somewhere (I just sorta skimmed all the pages), but which resistor did you use?

If I understand the circuit, whether this works/how well is going to depend on the resistor. Thanks to a friend with access to AllData, I know the correct output voltage from the second o2 sensor is .45v (that would be stoich, lean/rich are about .02v in either direction) Which resistor achieves this?

from what I have read, 1 megaohm works, but if you wanted to be precise, there is probably a calculation (V=IR?) that could be used to find the exact resistance necessary...you could also get a variable resistor (potentiometer) and then use a multimeter to adjust the resistor until you get the proper voltage...sorry I cant give you more specific information, but that should help...let me know if you have any more questions!

Hmm...maybe if I get bored during my next class (all three hours of it...damn night class) I'll crunch some numbers and see what I can come up with.

holy rusted metal batman! the flux capacitor is over loading because the understandometer just went flying out the window before the reactor could comprehend what it said!

picked up a 10uf 35v capacitor, this too much as others have rec. a 1uf 50v?

as far as i know, the capacitor is merely to smooth voltage spikes and such and the exact value is not crucial...i would recommend the use of 1 uf, but 10 uf will probably work as well...the voltage is not crucial either...as the sensor will be at around 5 volts, a 35 volt capacitor should be able to handle 5 volts with ease...

im not sure why I used a 50V in my cheater...probably just had it on hand or something

would this work to eliminate my rear O2 sensor on an svt? also the sensor is damaged right where the wires go into the sensor....would this cheater still work?
