try black silicone instead of tape. i've been using silicone instead of tape for years now and works just as good if not BETTER>.

The only reason of why I choose to make my O2 cheater was to get rid of the MIL that my C-F-M SVT high flow cat was creating, my guess is that my high flow C-F-M cat is not good enough to reduce the emissions as it should. When I go for emissions testing I have no choice to re-install the stock header, stock cat and stock flex pipe, that is a pain in the ass but I need to do it once every 2 years.

Cheers
great to hear someone else had good results with this thanks for your input!

ok im curious about this is it strictly for the focus or is it more of a universal guide that can be used on different cars that have a bigger motor like a v8 or will it change some of the components needed?

Nice write up but ill stick to the mods that pull the sensor out of the stream a little.

I was getting a code for my cat (is fubar) so i installed the drilled out defoulers and reset the ecu, fixed it up perfect and is mechanical so it cant fail. Cost me $5 to do

try resetting the ECU (unplug the battery, turn on the lights for a few minutes, then plug it back in) and see if after it finished a drive cycle the light is still there...

thanks, more power to ya, haha...i havent done the other methods so i cant do any sort of comparison, im just electrically inclined, so i did this one, haha...mechanically inclined people may lean toward drilling and stuff...i guess its been workin for you then?
