you can do 50shot safely with stock internals... no2 isnt as bad as ALOT of people think... i have a co-worker that has been running 125shot on a mustang for about 3 years now...

think about it... No2 only hits the internals when its used.... boost hits the internals ALL THE TIME... as long as you dont go overboard with no2 you'll be safe... but i havent seen or heard an engine going through its whole life with either boost or no2... for one reason... once you get 50shot you'll want more so you up it and take your chances and then your engine goes cablewy..... with boost once you hit 12psi... why not try your luck at 20psi? you know you'll want it and like to see the numbers... after you hit 20psi you'll want more and more and then ca-blewy... again...

so without a built engine in either circumstance if you are willing to demonstrate self control and stay within your engine's limits... you'll be ok... but if you get bit by the bug... thats when your engine will hate life.... but even a built engine can be taken to its "knees" with too much boost or too much bottle... plan it carefully whatever way you go and stay within limits... i always read and heard to running a slightly larger fuel jet when doin No2... yeah it'll bring your shot down slightly... but it'll give you an increase in safety and lower your chances of running too lean, when you hit the switch.

and Flea... side note.... NOS..... is a company..

its around 600$ish... you'll want to get some extra parts with the initial kit... like bottle warmer PSI gauge...

http://focus.c-f-m.com/index.asp?Pag...S&Category=282

from what i hear the ZEX system is the best for the money... it has a controller that monitors A/F and adjusts the shot accordingly so the car wont ever run lean.

OH and.... get a wet system... that introduces fuel and No2 together... not just No2 byitself like a dry system... the dry system i believe needs a larger fuel pump and will require fuel pressure regulator adjustments... far beyound what you would need for a DD... the wet systems are just better for DD apps...

I spray. 75hp jets are what I am rolling now.

zex wet kit, msd 8969 digital rpm window switch, zex racer tuning kit (bottle warmer, purge, blow down tube).

Get a better clutch, that is suggestion.

Fuel is the most important factor. I also think the ZEX kit is the best for the money cause it mixes acordingly. Make sure you have a A/R gauge or a wideband so you can make sure the motor doesnt lean out!
