I know this may be a tiny bit of a thread jack, but....

How long do they last? Also, how much do they cost?

I was averaging about 4 months of usage on a vehicle that always has the lights on and about 6 months just using them at night. Last time I bought some, SilverStars were going for $39.99 for a twin pack. So at $40 for a set, I decided to save up for a true HID setup.

Been Using Silverstars for years, in 3 Different cars. The current pair in my Foci have been in for going on 2 years now and are still as bright as hell. I stumbled across this thread because i was looking for a possible upgrade from the Silverstar Ultras (I believe those are the new ones) that I wanted to buy, since i cant afford the jump to HIDs yet.

But (Personally), Im very fond of the Silverstars and will continue to Purchase them for now. Between those and (I know its a lil cheesy) the Street Glow Fog Bulbs, ive never really been lacking for light, considering they're standard halogens. At around $40 or so per pair and the life ive been getting out of them, they work great for me.
