Former Procharger guys...whats the deal!?!?
Alright so I have narrowed down my decision for FI to the procharger. Every aspect of the procharger makes me smile except for the torque (but thats ok because for the ease of install, the simplicity and the price savings makes up for it...kinda lol). Putting down 260ish hp and 210ish tq at the wheels on 10 lbs sounds good enough to me.

Anyway my question is to the guys that have previously been procharged...WHY DO YOU SELL THEM? I dont get it! I see a lot of guys get a procharger and then sell it 2-10 months later! I know a couple on this forum have changed hands at least two times. I have only really read good things about the procharger so dont see why someone would want to sell it especially once its installed???

Anybody have some insight on this for me? I know there are about 5-7 guys on here that have had a procharger on their svt at one point or another so any answers would be handy! I dont want to invest in something that isnt going to be reliable!

I'd trade a bit of turbo lag (this isn't the late 70s-mid 90s, after all) for almost equal HP/TQ numbers and a much higher overall potential over lower numbers and "instant power" any day of the week...

Hmmm, the only downfall to one, is the whine can be loud at times, and to some ZI think it gets old? Only real issue I can see, or if they never got a decent tune installed.

Why do they sell..
Well I think I'm out growing my Procharger SVT. Not that I'm looking to sale but sooner or later that time will come.

^^^ Well, there is that thing were you get used to speed. I own a 10 second motorcycle and the rush of speed is still very nice, but I"ll admit it dowsn't "feel" as fast as it did when I bought it. So, I guess there is that, too.
