If you really want to make a statement, go directly to the General manager. Since the Ford rep will be on site, might be good to have them both as part of the conversation.

Just make sure U get that Bitch ass jerk that said those things, and report it along with it.

Wow...did they fix it for you yet? I am anxious to hear the outcome of this one!

F'ing dealerships. I don't trust anybody but me with my car. If it were me, I would tell them to give me the pump and I would put it in myself, but that's just me....I don't care about the warranty, nor the labor.

yeah, they are being stupid, i showed them supplement #2 to 03N01 and pointed where it said "If the customer informs you that their vehicle exhibits stalling,......or other similar symptoms, replace the FDM. There is no need for further diagnostics prior to FDM replacement."
Unless I am not reading this right, it says that they should replace it without running any test on pump or other components. the way they said it was that it didnt fail their test (fuel pump) but the other components did.

They should replace it anyway. They should also replace the dpfe since "they" said that it was bad and its still covered under the extended warranty.

Yep and Mike knows his business!

To further add to your argument....

What If the Dealer Claims That My Vehicle Can Pass the I/M Test
Without Repair?

The law does not require that you fail every I/M test in order to
trigger the warranty. If a valid test shows that you have an emission
problem or there is a defective part, you should get it fixed, while
your vehicle is still within the warranty period.
Otherwise, you
might fail a future test because of the same problem and have to pay
for the repair yourself. If you doubt your original test results or
the dealer's results or diagnosis, you can always get another opinion
from another dealer or your I/M program.

oh, one more thing I forgot to add was that along with replacing the "faulty" components, they are also needing to reflash the ECU.....to upgrade the software...???
