rear lower control arm bushing

I changed my rear springs last week and the lower control arm bushing is stuck in place on the bolt. I went to my Ford dealer to see what is the cost of the bushing and they told me that they dont sell the bushing but only the entire lower control arm

Do you know a company (like energy or prothane) that make a rear control arm bushing and where can i buy it?

Thanks

Bump... I have the same problem. Cant find them anywhere. Only thing I came up with was the have aluminum ones made but that would take away the comfort thats for sure. Or I was going to try and track down a pair from a similar application and modify them.

They are actually welded to the control arm and so no one actually 'sells' the bushing. you 'MIGHT' be able to find another bolt and nut to work, just you have to cut off the stocker. Talk to mike b16sir1991 on this forum and he'll be able to get your the part 10% over cost, prices might be higher since you're in Canada. I wanna say that the part is under $50 US for it.

The unfortunate side to the rear control arms is that the bushing is welded to the arm. With that said the only way to replace it is to replace the entire arm. With the arms purchased you also need to buy each bolt for the arms because once the bolts are fuzed in the bushing just cutting them off and hammering out completely destroys the bushing.

But if you already got your springs in without dropping the arms, y even worry about changing them out? J/W

Sorry to bring a thread back from the dead, but my bushings are f'ed as well and prothane makes a full kit (all 4 rear bushings) for about $150. If they're welded into place how is this possible?
