WOW but if you kept all receipts oil and filter, they are legally bound to abide by the terms of the warranty. IT doesn't state anywhere that they or any shop has to do it. You have proof and that's all that matters. I would have fought that BS line.

well my 2010 was flawless up until I traded it toward a 2012 (wish I still had it!) the 2012 let me down in ways and made me happy in others. I loved the look and the handling and the mpg was amazing. Plenty fast to. However I hated the way it shifted and it once died on me for no aparent reason ford suggested a programming I ended up unable to continue owning the car and had to let it go and wonder now if that wasn't for the best and should perhaps get another 2010 or 2011 model year as a next car (currently drive an old beater impala with 137k on it and its a nightmare lol)

You buy a car in its first model year, everyone is having problems with them. Had you did your research you would have easily found this out. Being a master tech I'm surprised you haven't heard of the issues.

Now suddenly the whole brand is bad, not really seeing how loyal one can really be after putting a whole brand down over one car.

AC problems with my 05, rear bumper keeps breaking tabs and wants to fall off. When I bought the car, after about a month the clutch felt like it was slipping, but after 3 years of ownership, it hasn't gotten any worse. Do the Foci (mine being an 05) have a "different feeling" clutch?! Other than that, I have loved the crap out of mine!

I wonder if it is possible to get a breakdown between model year (at least group MK3 together).

Also wonder why I am allowed to vote here but not able to vote in polls in the other sections.

Not going to vote at this stage till I have more time with the car (first time Ford owner - not counting an old Maverick wife bought for next to nothing when she was in college a long time ago)
