My worst complaint is that the 45 series tires with the SVT shocks are horrible about road bumps. I like the car very much but hate the stock shocks and wish I could afford to change them for Koni...

I'd definitely change my answer if I could to never buying a ford again. I commented a second time a while ago saying it may be a possibility, but now the slave cylinder has gone out less than 2 months after having a new clutch put in. I can't afford the mechanic's bill, and I've already blown through my savings getting the engine and clutch replaced. Sorry Ford, but never again.

Stop moding it. Evendently your not doing something right. If you left it alone I bet it would be just fine. Why pay a mechanic to fix do it your self it's cheaper.

I love my car! The only thing that I have actually had to replace was the serpentine belt. All the other mods was just money burning a hole in my pocket.

In the 100,000+ officially now. Have ran into no engine problems what so ever. I do normal change of parts, spark plugs, wires, filters, fluids, belts, and hoses. None of which were bad, I just replaced as maintenance.

So no engine problems. Only problems I seem to have seem to be suspension/drive train.

Need cv joints, shocks, motor mounts, control arm, and etc.

UR right. Leave the Ford camp and go buy a Toyota. Then when you have a problem[ and beleive me, all cars have their issues],then you can pay 2X more for the service and parts. But you can sit afterwards and say you are proud to own a foreign crapper!

Only issue with my '12 Ti is with the guy at the gas station that called it a Volvo

My '10, the rear bumper keeps popping lose behind the rt rear wheel, other than that, 42K miles of great fuel economy...very happy overall with our Focus'...now if I felt the same way about my F450
