Coilpacks, had some raunchy bad issues with those for a while. Other than that nothing, my focus has been great.

I have had a ton of issues to fix on my '03 SVT Most of it caused by the previous owner. Some of it are "Common" problems I've had to correct.

Steering knuckle, front bearings, shocks, struts, springs, control arm, ball joints, motor mounts, brake caliper, camber arms, radiator, rims, antenna, thermostat housing, valve cover gasket, and the A/C evaporator is bad...so it's another $800 to spend.

I love the car but it's been no where as reliable as any of the 4 Nissan Sentras I have owned. It does run really well, and gets great gas mileage for being an SVT, it has yet to leave me stranded however.

My SVT has had the following issues:

Brake squeal from day 1
Cat heat shield rattle
Failed clutch master cylinder
Failed driver seat heater
IMRC

These have mostly all been repaired, but you see I can't say it's been completely trouble free,

I would call Steve @ Tousley Ford before you dismiss OEM...just to compare prices with aftermarket.

the OEM fuel pump replacement for myne is 425$ and the one i have now is from the factory an was recalled but never changed from 2000.. dont want to do the ridiculous price, wondering what a good aftermarket fuel pump would be

NAPA had one for my SVT for $200.

Go to their website, and look yours up, should probably be around the same.

i'm happy with how well mine have stayed together. i got my 06' ST new and have only replaced the alternator at 103K miles. all other bad stuff to happen to it was from a tree that fell on it. this thing totaled my families 2011 grand caravan and then thought it can box with my ST. only did 2.5K in damage and a scratch will do that these days.
i bought my SVT from a guy in atlanta and 2 months later thanks to the dipwad putting regular unleaded in it for 93K miles the head and head gasket went. i spent 800 fixing that at home and did some porting as it was apart. two weeks later it was back!
i love my foci.
including the $500 deductable from the tree i've spent about 2K total on fixes in 7 years.
