alternator went out, stablizer bent, some hoses sprang a leak or busted on me, (over 100k miles) other than that if i left the engine unmodded i wouldnt have any trouble out of it.
Doing Operation Restoring Hope to my Focus. Trying to get it back on the road around the same power level.

one thing ford really has to do is recall these stupid ignition cylinders. i just keep hitting it cause im not about to pay 200 for a new cylinder 2 new keys and it programmed and cut. ford should take responsibility.

Cylinder 1 spark plug wire crapped out
Broken driver side mount. (Damn parking lot bumps, and drinking bad combo) as well as both 02 sensors.
Rear catalytic converter bracket broke. (Excuse to get a HFC)
Grounding problem. Fixed with $6 cables from local parts store.
Tires are getting worn in the inside.
Need to replace shocks and struts.

My 2002 Ford Focus has had many problems shortly after it was purchased in 2002. Here is the list...
LF window regulator....repaired/replaced 3 times
RF window regulator....repaired/replaced 2 times
RR window regulator...repaired/replaced 2 times
Thermostat Housing...replaced 2 times
Thermostat...replaced 1 time
Thermostat Housing "O" ring...replaced 3 times
Valve Cover Gasket...replaced 2 times
Coolant Bypass Hose...replaced 1 time
Brakes...ongoing problems
Electric Door Locks...repaired two times
Shift Solenoid A...replaced two times
Oil Pan Leak...replaced new gasket
LF Axle Oil Seal...replaced one time
LF Half Shaft...replaced one time
LF Ball Joint...replaced one time
Wiper Motor Relay...replaced one time
Ignition Switch...replaced one time
Lower Transmission Cooler Line....repaired leak coming out of transmission
Brake Lights...repaired electrical shorts

The 2002 Focus SE w/Zetec only has 85,000 miles on it and I have been the only driver since day one. Fortunately, I have done most of the repairs myself so the actual dollars spent has been somewhat reduced...not paying a repair shop. If I had to pay a repair shop, I would have been bankrupt by now. I will never buy another FORD product again. By the way, I also own a relatively new Ford Expedition (Eddie Bauer) and this vehicle has ongoing quality issues.
