Liquid Grey Hood on A Cloud9 ZX5...Rice?

Ok, I bought the liquid grey Roush hood with scoop from Roushturboedzx3. I believe I have completed 99% of the performance mods that I intend on doing so I thought I would put a little money in the show category. I was talking to the body shop yesterday about getting the hood repainted to match the rest of the car (cloud9 white) when one of the guys suggested that I leave it the Liquid grey color.

I have the OZ record wheels in what they call "matte graphite silver" which looks a lot like the liquid grey without the real high gloss finish so hood and wheels would kind of match. I see people all the time with black hoods on red, white, yellow cars or carbon fiber hoods on an assortment of colors so I thought why not liquid grey on cloud9white..........buuuuut, I'm not sure. When I get the hood I'm going to photoshop it onto my car to try and get a visual but in the mean time I was interested in getting some input from here.

So what do you think, vote and let your voice be heard. Your participation is appreciated.

In case anyone should ask...No, I'm not sure yet if I will make the scoop functional, I have the Pipercross intake so making it functional serves no real purpose for me but I'm still thinking about it.

Yea I think you should paint it...I think you would get some crap about trying to emulate CF if you leave it grey.

i would'nt call it ricer if you didn't paint your hood, but i personally like for the hood to be the same color as the car.

I didn't mean to imply that people who had hoods of another color were ricer simply that in my particular situation/color combination it might appear ricer...but hey, thanks for the input and honestly I believe I'm more like you in that the hood should be the same color.

Mmm I was thinking leave it, might look nice. But then of course you gotta do more liquid grey colors.......so nm.
I think you should out it on and then post some pics to decide.

Pics would be good to see how it currently looks. But I'm going to say paint it, since it's not CF.

Definately paint it. You already have an all white theme going....why ruin it now. Post up some pics of how your car looks now.
