Angry vapor lock!!!!!

I love my car,BUT when it gets hot out side it trys to vapor dies and motor stops..wait a few min.s starts up and runs good for a few..then it dies again.. so it is some thing I never know for a returnless fuel system.

It sounds like a failing coil pack or fuel pump. I can't give more insight without knowing the problem first hand.

Modern cars dont vapor lock, I agree with Hillyard its more likely your fuel pump going out or a coil going bad.

Vapor Lock is gasoline in a fuel system that has gone from its natural liquid state to the state of vapor. Fuel pumps cannot pump vapors, they were designed to pump liquids.

Fuel injected vehicles usually have their fuelpumps in the gas tanks so the term has gone the way of Polio and the dinosaurs. It was a big problem back in the 70s and even 80s, especially out in the SouthWest because of the heat and altitude of many places.
