Mine has not started hard yet...granted there are only 11 thou on her....It is annoying how hard I have to press the clutch in to get it to start...Is there any way to turn that off or make it a little easer?

It's an SVTF thing - mine does it, as did every previous one I ever test drove.

Yup, normal. Since I bought her at 12k miles, still doin the same at 52k 20 months later. Never had any problems with the longer starting though.

I have an 03 with 18,900 miles. I bought it new in Sept. 03. Its a summer drive and in a climate controled environment during the winters in Michigan. As for the slow starting, my battery terminals were pretty nasty so I cleaned them. Turns over on the 3 try. Original motorcraft battery.

Mine was has always started slow; Even now with a new alternator and battery and freshly cleaned terminals. I used to drive a 95 camry and it wouldn't turn the engine really fast and start nearly immediately. Mine's sort of a thunk thunk thunk thunk th'vroooom! ...I like the vroom.

I've heard if you get a 4gauge ground kit it'll start a little faster. Or maybe just turn the engine a little quiker.
