SVT Slow Starting
My 8000 mile 2003 Svt starts rather slow, meaning it cranks a little longer before firing than most other cars I have driven. Is this normal or should it fire immediately like other cars? Also WHY? thanks , signed Puzzeled

I've been told at ford that it takes a little longer to start because of some start delay to build up oil pressure.

sorry my bad i heard that the SVT focus had a really low comppression ratio but actually it has 10.2:1 so i appologise for that
