Fuel Problems on this forum.

I been reading a lot and I may come to a conslusion. Have U ever wondered that replacing a fuel filter will no cause stress to your fuel pump? I heard on this forum that people changed there filter and there thing with fuel pump problems have disappeared.

I changed mine a few months back when I got my focus used, the owner never had a problem with the fuel system, although he is aware of it. I've got to say even the so called good fuel, looks nasty after 62,000 miles+. Had fuel injector service done and ran a fuel pump test, the mechanic that I trust claims that my fuel pump is healthy.

What im trying to say is this... Has anyone changed there fuel filter to solve there trouble with there fuel system?

Nice..... Although I am a little concerned about that seafoam cleaner. Maybe it works too well.... But like I said I am no way affected by the recall. They did say that some focuses manufactured in FEB of 02 were counts as stabled and unaffected.

well it is only like a 10 min job in a driveway so its not like it is murder, and seafoam wont work too well, it is all in how u use it, i used 1/3 pintin the intake and the other 2/3 in the fuel sys and it worked wonders
