Some small changes to the "River Rat".

Decided to paint my old stockers Duplicolor Bronze wheel paint. Also cut some of the coils off the rear springs trying to level it out some what. So what do you think?

Before

After

Sorry for the crappy pics it was getting dark fast. I did the center caps also but not sure if i wanna use them or not. I'll post pics of them mounted later.

Some pics i just took at lunch with and without the center caps.

Very nice job. How did the coil job go, was it easy and how's the ride?

Do the center caps but get a paint touchup pen and highlight the ford symbol in different cover to make it stand out.

Very easy cutting the rear springs just unbolted the rear shocks and pulled down on the arms and popped out the springs started cutting coils from the bottom were they are all stacked together till i got to were it is now. i may go lower yet and the ride is just a little stiffer.

OBX exhaust

York Nissan plate frame thought i'd represent since they let me store it there while i restored it.

Won't need to highlight the FORD on the caps cause the are the 2000 model year ones with the real emblem in the centers.

I have wanted to do this for a long time, looks good but dark. Probably would look better on a blue car like mine, you know the whole WRX look.

I like the flat black look. Great job on the wheels also.

Thanks for sharing the pics.
