Im New Help Me Out

Whats up everyone im from charleston, sc and im gettin a 2001 focus this week and im new to them so i know nothing about them so you will probably see my name on here a lot. but it is a zx3 with a lot of svt parts on it also has an svt motor that needs to be put back together that is completely built that i may be parting with if the price is right. it is bored and stroked to a 2.5 with the crower kit ported and polished titanium valves springs and retainers the whole 9 yards. i dunno wether im gonna put it back together or sell it but a wrist pin came loose and the rod damaged the bottom of one piston but the cylinder wall is fine. but let me know if any of yall are any where close and im deff. gonna be in myrtle beach for the show and everything they are putting together.

well if this isnt your only car i would build it and put it back together. a 2.5l built SVT motor sounds like it would be fast. but only if you have the money to rebuild it.

but if its your only ride i would just go to a junk yard drop a motor in it and build this one of the side and when its ready i would drop it in. but again it all has to do with what you can afford to do.

i say rebuild!!! Unless you have a daily driver other than this 2001 zx3, then it may be harder. Get new rods, wrist pins, rings, and pistons and you should be ready to go. Sounds like a sweet motor and welcome to the FF community!!! Happy Moding

well its already got another motor in it it has the zetec non svt in it the built svt is just a spare i just have to put it together and all it needs is one piston, ring, and wrist pin but the motor is torn apart to nothing so its just a time consuming job and i dont really know what im doin. but the built motor only had 4000 when it messed up but ill keep yall updated on whats going on and if you have any suggestion let me know

You'll need a tranny too, i don't belive anyone has mated the MTX75 and the SVT motor and you'll actually need an SVT axle aswell. The motor would definately be a great starting platform if you're looking for some power SVT internals can handle 350ish whp. Oh i notice it's fully built and stroked damn, that sucker is definatly worth fixing, you'll make some decent power N/A with that beast.
