Strut Tower Brace

If I was to get a Volant intake would this mean that I wouldn't be able to fit a strut tower brace on my car? I thought I read a blurb awhile ago about someone saying that the volant disables the use of strut tower braces because the intake box is large. Thanx for the help!!
