Roush hood scoop ...opinions

What do you guys think about the roush hood scoop ?

I know its not functional and serves no purpose but looks but do you guys find it looks good ?

Keep in mind I eventually plan on getting the entire Roush bodykit and whale tail wing ..

just brainstorming I asked my girl for it for my birthday..

i have it but haven't installed it or painted it yet for fear of it looking ricey. I originally thought about cutting holes in the hood and modding the scoop to make it functional but later decided against rust, and no real gains.

In my opinion.. why waste the money when you could be adding power?

If its completely nonfunctional and 100 percent cosmetic.... I'd wait. If you really, REALLLLLY want it.. go for it.. its your car. But, if you're wanting something functional that WILL make your car perform better... the money is better spent on something else.

if you're planning on going with the whole kit and want the total look eventually, you've got to start somewhere, right? seems as good a place as any. nice present from the gf and whenever she looks at your car she will feel like a small part of her is invested in it as well. the real question is does she like it. if she doesn't you're not impressing the second most important person in your world.

obviously you like it. so what does it matter if you impress a bunch of people on a forum with it? make yourself happy and let others do the same with their own cars. there is nothing wrong with making your car look the way you want it to as long as you don't live under some delusion that making it look sporty turns it into a sports car.

i was thinking of getting a roush hood scoop for my car. i dont really care if it's functional or not (i can always make it functionable), i just like the looks really good, especially with the rest of the roush kit or SAP.

I think im getting it for sure , just wondering what some thoughts were.
Why bother with performance mods like intake or exhaust when eventually once warranty is up its goin turbo ? seems like wasting money to me lol

If you put a turbo it then becomes a sports car :-)
