14's possible in a lightly modded SVT?

Makes complete sense to me. I go through that every time I go to the track. I don't care who I line up with because I'm only racing myself. I've lined up against 10 second cars as well as 19 second cars doesn't matter to me because I don't care weather I win or loose as long as I beat my personal best time.

However if someone asks me to race I'll line up with them but its the same thing I race myself and don't worry about what the other person is doing.

Bracket racing is great. Then you can beat much faster cars. :)

15.7 eh? That's good times for a bone stock SVT. Unfortunately I still don't see a non-race-car-driver breaking into the 14's in a relatively stock (lightly modded) svtf. It's sad.

I ran a 15.7 @ 90 mph in my non-stock SVTF with mods from my sig. The track prep sucked but I don't like to lay blame. Nate

mine is 4 door too. im sure a 2 door with the spare tire jack and other crap shed would run a few tenths faster. maybe a 15.5. i dont see why a bolt on svt couldnt run 14's. free-er flowing intake/exhaust, good plugs and wires, low tank of gas, some drag radials, good clutch/flywheel and a tune. i could probobly get a 14.9 out of her.

Thats just shows how horrible the SVT are on the bottom end of the track. My 1/8 was 9.814@71.18 which is about 8 hundreths faster than yours with the same trap. Yet my 1/4 is about 8 hundreths slower than yours and you have a bit faster trap.
