Cleaning MAF sensor

I have a question. How? how do you clean the MAF sensor.

use goof off or ether/carb cleaner..........hehehe.....but no for real...i wouldnt ever try to clean off a maf sensor..you shouldnt ever have to.

Y? I did it am my car runs great, also carb cleaner leaves frickle like deposits. there is MAF sensor cleaner for MAF parts.

NEVER EVER CLEAN YOUR MAF WITH A CARB CLEANER, YOU WILL SCREW IT LIKE THAT!!!
Get Electronics part cleaner and clean it, it should be cheap....

There's a HOW TO on this. I cleaned mine with the quick dry electrical parts cleaner made by CRC (I think) and it can be had for about 5-6 bucks a can.

Yeah, I usually clean mine with electronics part cleaner about a few days after I oil my K&N, just in case i have oiled the filter too much. Cleaned it today and it made a noticable difference. Nver had any problem spraying the MAF, just don't get super close with the can and let it dry, it'll be fine.
