To Paint Or Not To Paint
I would like to paint this part of the door that is circled in white....
what prep is needed(sanding, etc.)

i painted mine on my 07 sand it with a light grain sand paper. if you have everused any kind of cleaner on it such as armoral or meguires or anything like then you should use a heavier one first then smooth it out with a lighter one so it doesnt get fisheyes all over

hey bro check out my gallery, mines painted white, i painted my whole interior, from grey to black and white, came out great. i used car paint on that piece

no i have pics on my cardomain page of the dash stuff painted but i just painted the door stuff the other day. if you go on cardomain.com and search the name bambam_12 youll see it

all my white parts were painted with my color code, the rest with black duplicolor vinyl paint from a can

i used a scotch pad, body shop grade, to scuff up the surface and used a prep cleaner with the pad

hey so my mom just told me that you can also do a heattreatment on the part so that the paint will stick better.... has anyone done this b4 if so let me know what you used and how it went ....
