Did you transfer the PATS system from the contour? That could be an issue with the OBD2 sync. You did a full rewire didn't you or just plug & play the connections?

When you swapped the motor did you splice the engine harness or swap it over as well? Your problem sounds like its engiine-to-dash wiring to me. The PATS system is part of this as well. You can just wire you the SVT pats stuff & throw it behind the dash.

except i only have the engine side of the harness... and the OBD-II port talks to the IC as well... i'm a little past just tossing at PATS module in. I'm sure I can program it, just gotta look up the protocol and figure out EXACTLY what the smog guys want to see....

if anyone can tell me exactly what codes they need to see or what messages that'd be great. especially whatever the normal messages are on a Zetec 2002 zx3 :D

i have my IC here with me. i measured and i could only fit 3 3/8" gauges.
