^^ would have been a good car

it's the mazda that's been in my siggy forever. I finally got the title today.

and yeah I finally realized it could cost all the way up to 6-7 hundred before I'm driving it (I mean with all the registration and insurance fees and all that crap. and repairs.) it's not in bad shape other than a snapped timing belt.

it's SOOOOOO comfy though. leather seats, swinging air vents (yeah seriously they go back and forth like one of those floor fans) 5spd manual 2.0l cruise control

edit: lol can't wait for my awesome job too..... in 5-6 years I could be owning my own shop and be the only person working there, and it would be the one I'm working at now and with all the tools and customers.

lol.

the 95 had 300k on the clock and had some major body leakage but apparently still ran. it would've cost me $500 plus registration and all that crap. there are a lot of better ways i can spend that money. and all of them mean cool things for Deb.

agreed. sad thing is the stereo that's installed in the car PROBABLY cost more than what I bought the whole car for. LOL.

edit: the only way I found out the mileage was from the title. 183k. good mileage out of a timing belt though

Oops looked at the title, it's actually 138k my bad lol. Still more than anyone should have gone on a belt.

Yeah this kid today was selling his truck (more like painting it quite awesomly) but we both made offers, somehow the other kid got it for $100 less. So yeah for $500.

What's funny is, he asks the shop teacher " would you mind if I kept it here for a few weeks, so my parents won't know till I find out how much t will really cost" lol.

So that finally sparked me to ask him. I go " how would you like to make $150 RIGHT NOW?" "ok what do I have to do" "that car out there? I want." "ok fork over the cash" lol.

Much agreed. I really love this other car cause i haven't done a thing to it and I won't (heh scratch that I already have plans. Custom exhaust system, white steelies) and it's not falling apart at every panel like mine is right now (seriously pull on the latch from the I side, it all pops out)

ahhh... well that makes sense then... i have a rolling chassis with an engine that needs some coolant hoses and a new ECU and a transmission that only asks for driveshafts and a slave cylinder clutch fluid line.

so i'll buy some nice 4-point harnesses and a cool rally roof scoop and even a celebratory/christening pair of Puma Speedcats in Blue and white (great driving shoes, btw)
