Can you link to the one you ordered? I was just on diyautotune looking at their stuff. It's A hell of a deal compared to other standalone systems (the ones I looked at were $1600 and $2000 for the basic models)

organized my room a bit to get ready for all the epic soldering and stuff i'm gonna be doing soon......

there's 2 computers... and an oscilloscope off to the right.... let's shed some light on the subject, shall we?

we've got the Windows XP machine with it's own monitor and the keyboard and mouse in the slideout try. this machine will be handling my MegaTune, Solidworks, ALLDATA needs. The mac laptop will be for music, homework, photoshop, anything truly processor intensive. I've got my nice digital temperature controlled soldering iron, my multimeter, and my oscilloscope too, just in case.

and what more appropriate place for all of this then right underneath my Ford Racing banner, the pics of Deb from 2 summers ago, and Deb's old valve cover aka "the Deb shrine"

i'm getting really excited to start getting in all my stuff so i can start working on Deb again. I'm gonna see if i can get my panavise out here cause when i'm soldering it's nice for my board to be held in something.

that's not really a car update, but i'm sure i'll be sending pics as i build things, and a lot of them will be from that desk.

Damn I like that setup. Lol.

Ok looks to me like you're building your MS then. I was looking at the ones they make, cause I kinda don't trust myself to assemble it correctly.

Oh and I now see what you mean.... College IS expensive :(.

thanks man. spent most of yesterday cleaning and organizing my room and it's nowhere near done yet.

yeah I'm gonna build mine. with the stimulator i'll be able to test it as I go.

yeah college is pricey man, it sucks. luckily I got a REALLY good deal on the oscilloscope. it was only like $60 shipped. the thing sells for like $2000 refurbished.

i spent around $1400 last night, got all my autometer stuff, all my MS stuff, and a car cover for Deb. it's gonna be like $800-$1000 to ship deb out here and then i still have a few more little parts to buy before she can actually be totally done.

damn. but good luck!

yeah I just made a SAFE bet (probably at least $500 too high) of what it will cost me these fall and spring semesters. $7k (that includes only the academic scholarship money I got so far. waiting for music and departmental ones HOPEFULLY)

how much do I have? not that (close, but not there) where the hell am I gonna get cash for car parts? lol. then I have a summer to make that much again. I sure hope I get cash for graduation so I can afford the next year. I've also tried to budget 1k for parts each year as well.
