If you're talking about auto transport be careful to read EVERYTHING. Some don't insure or allow "luggage" in the car. So they would ether turn a blind eye to missing parts or not even take it period. I've always preferred renting a trailer from u-haul. Depending on how far you're going it may be cheaper, and it's always best to know exactly what happens and how.

when I shipped my mustang from CO to the east coast it cost 850, it may be a bit more for you since they charge extra for non-running cars.

yeah i was looking at it a while ago and the quotes were around $900-$1000 for a non-op rolling vehicle.

if i could find some crazy FF'er who wants to tow a car cross country i'd pay their gas.

also my sister is moving out to san francisco soon, and while her relocation package only allows shipping one car, she's gonna talk to the transport company and see if we can work out a deal and get my car shipped for a lower price cause it's going to the same place.

update time!!!

so my megasquirt was missing a bunch of bits (sad face) so i'll have to order a new one from diyautotune.com

I just measured the stock IC and there's NO way i'm gonna be able to run a 5" speedo or tach in that thing. so 3 3/8" it is because i want it to look stock-esque inside (aka no 5" pedestal tach sticking out like a sore thumb)

Also I'm going to request quotes for shipping again and order a car cover so that when I'm not working on Deb she doesn't get totally soaked in water/i don't get in trouble because i have a non working vehicle parked in my buddies driveway.

so all that's getting ordered tonight, should be a good time when it all gets here and i get to play my unboxing game :D
