Top End?

I need something for top end, i have alot of tq. but as soon as i pass a 1/4 i fall flat in 4th just wonderin if a cold air would be better than my short ram for that.

so your done bolting stuff on and plugging things in? Spray it. Small 50 shot with a new tune for timing and shift points and you should hang.

swapping out the cosworth header for the f2 will give some top end back.. otherwise... i would suggest cams... or spray

That's a great idea for the track, but I'd remove it for a daily driver. Follow one SUV through a big puddle and that's it for the engine. If you're only using on the track you could probably rig something up with the driver's headlight, remove the housing, install snorkel, replace housing to drive home.

Beyond that, port the head, and add beefier cams. You can't have top end without breath. Also, you're running a D20, so from what I understand then D23 head flows better and would be sorta a bolt on mod depending on engine experience. A wet shot would be much cheaper though- just poke a hole in the air intake hose and go to town. I duct taped one on a Neon rental once- loads of fun

cams...definitely cams. degree them aggressively. If you are running on stock internals, go no more than +2 -4. The higher you adjust them, the higher your powerband goes.
