"back to stock" question

I had a quick question, wondering if someone could point me in the right direction. As some of you know, I just recently sold my Procharger and changed my car back to stock, got some used SVT injectors from "CDSilver5doorSVT" (they have a blue top on them??) and reflashed back to stock. The car starts and ran ok at first. Took her for a little spin, I still have my narrow band A/F gauge hooked up and it usually just scans back an forth but when I was cruising in about 4th gear it seem to be stuck on RICH and the car kind of sputterd and jerked a couple times. Took it back home, checked the MAF -- looks good, intake looks good, injectors look good. Started the car up again in the driveway, ran rich for about 1 minute then slowly went back to lean then sputtered and died.???? No CEL's. I'm probably gonna be getting a tune from Tom within the next couple days, so hopefully that will clear some things up but suggestions for now would be appreciated. Thanks, Derek

Do you have a wideband O2 sensor? If not I would take anything the AFR gauge is telling you with a grain of salt, without a wideband those things are just a light show. When you ran it in the driveway, did the exhaust have a gas smell to it, or was it coming out with a lot of soot in it? It could just be the ECU is learning everything for the first time...since flashing it back to stock, how many miles have you put on it?

Having thought about going back to N/A before. I have worried how the car would react if any different. Cause I'm contemplating selling the blower after my milage gets higher (at 91K now), I kinda wondered if it would run worse after replacing the stock MAF, injectors, intake mani ect. I would think if done right, shouldn't be a problem. I'm with ^^^ on the ECU relearning the N/A stock tune, or did you forget how awful they run stock?

Yeah when I was running in the driveway it did smell a little "gassy". Since reflashing it back to stock I've probably driven it 5 miles. It seems to do ok from 1st to 3rd but 4th is where I kind of noticed it acting funny. I do have a wideband but I only have the narrow hooked up right now -- waiting until I decide if I'm gonna keep my car and try to go turbo before I install it. It could be that I have remnents of 6 month old gas from sitting so long too. I'm gonna get a tune from Tom so hopefully that will make things a little better and yes going back to stock from 10psi of boost is sooooo very disappointing!!

Ok, so I went and started the car up again today, planning on taking it out to let the ECU re-learn the stock tune.... started it up, let it run for about 30 seconds and then my gauges go blank -- all dashes???????

?????? That's really wierd. Sounds like an issue with reloading the factory tune properly?

Check the wires at the battery cables, you may have a loose wire there causing the problems.

Disconnected the battery today, started again, and got numbers back on my gauges BUT now I'm throwing P1000, and B1681???????? Suggestions? I've looked up the codes but they aren't really helpful as far as what to fix.

Speaking of that gas smell, does that mean that you are running rich?? Because my car has had a pretty strong gas smell when starting up and idling, also my car has been idling very rough and not firing up correctly. THen it's sputtering and spitting, could it be because I live in Michigan and the weather is changing all the time? Also it has been harder to take off when sitting still like I'm flooding the engine and I haven't changed anything. Maybe you guys can help me out?
