Ford Dealerships

Today I brought my car into ford for some problems I had. Truns out it was a faulty MAF sensor so they replaced it under warranty. I currently have about 8500 miles on the car itself and my rotors were shot...so they even replaced my pads and rotors for free. in addition a free wax and clean wheels...Overall Sanderson ford out in Phx, Az did a hell of a job and my hats off to them...for good quick work.

well i called up for just a rear motor mount and they wanted 110 bucks. the aftermarket better one is cheaper.
then i brought it to find out a weird noise my suspension was making and i got a whole lot of, well...... it could be this or it could be that.
i dont think i gave them an hours worth of labor time to tell me what i thought it could be, i just wanted a definate answer, and the wanted 5 hrs of diag time.
so i was driving my car through newport RI and the sound went away, so they can go screw themselfs

wow that blows, well maybe i was lucky....whatev....and its cool they actually gave me a new caliper to go along with everything cuz i guess i just like to use my brakes that much....AZ drivers suck....but i do drive on the freeways like its the audobahn

I recently had a good experience with Jim Keim Ford in Hilliard OH. They charged me a diagnostic fee to replace the fuel pump under warranty. I was in a hurry picking it up so I didn't dispute it then.

Later a girl from the dealership called and asked how my experience with the service was. I told her about the fee I was charged and she told me the service manager would call me back that day. He did, and agreed that he thought the fee was inappropriate. After speaking with his techs, he called me the next day and told me they were cutting me a refund check.

I think the trick was that I was calm and didn't assume that they were out to get me. I told him I thought it was just miscommunication between the counter guy and the tech as to what I wanted.
