why is it that everyone's halos seem to be soo bright. And I feel like mine are lacking a bit.
I got reg 3mm 10k LEDS.
I didn't use the new resistors that came with...think they would work better???
Am I "aiming" the leds wrong? I know that the ring is pretty much just a reflective ring.....
nuts..
also, I STILL haven't wired my signals because I can't figure how to not get the "fast blinker" syndrome.
I'd like to remove my grill signals and just use the lamp signals...any help on either subject? man I feel dumb...

fast signal syndrome? you using led blinkers?

you dont need to use new resistors. you may not have them in the socket completely. make sure you highbeam is backed out as far as it can go. in this i mean the reflector needs to be as far back as possible. this isnt necessary, but it will make it a bit easier to put the leds back in. and of course you will have to re-aim them.
i think i used 10kmcd, but i cant remember its been so long. if mine ever burn out, im going 5mm with the max mcd so i can come closer to the brightness of the bimmers.

again, like i said in my how-to, the 5mm will require shaving the housing to accomodate the larger leds. i will not tell you how to do this only to save my own arse.

you shouldnt get a fast blinker syndrome as long as you have one large bulb on the front working. you need to have the 1156 bulb as your turn signal. make sure your tails arent out as well.

Mabey I'll get around to trying it again.
I just bought a euro grill to delete the grill lights soooo. we'll see.
And yeah I remember reading black&tan's 5mm post.
Seems easy enough.

um, really? are you kidding me? LED flashlights, LEDs last pretty long compared to other lights

LED's in general should last thousands or tens of thousands of hours.

my LED's are still lit, have had them on the car for over 3 years, and I like to run my fogs and my parkign lights (with the halos on) in the dawn/dusk hours....

no burnout LED's

those must be some cheap headlights....
