I swapped out my eyebrow LED's for yellow LED wedge bulbs I bought online and turned them into turnsignals.

I think I might go bright white for my halo's though... not sure yet. I'm thinking maybe a light purple ;)

well I have mine all finished. Overall they look pretty sweet.
I didn't actually do the eyebrows. I just left them until I decide what to do with them.
But I think there must be something with the positioning of the LEDs inside the housing and on the tiny board that affect reflection and brightness.
Because I got the 10kmcd bulbs and they just don't seem too bright.
But I'm happy with it for now. I'll get pics up when I can.

i just ordered my l.e.d.'s a few days ago, they'll be taking a while to come in though since they're comin' from hong kong but it'll be worth the wait. can't WAIT to do the install. your write up makes it look pretty simple, plus i gotta friend who knows how to work a solder 'couz i sure as hell don't. what do you think guys, i went with red? i'm probably going to stick with only the inner halos for a while, then maybe do the other two...if you want check out my pics and tell me what you guys think, will the red look cool?

the red will look really aggresive! most of us declined on the red due to the simple fact that it is illegal as all hell if you run them on the street. i know for a fact that red and blue lights are a NoNo please post pics when u get them done. thanx!

yeah i wasn't really sure about the legality of some red halo's down here where i drive but then again, around here cops are stupid...they sometimes ignore the most obvious crap and other times bust you on the STUPIDIST crap!!! we gotta big burlington parkin' lot down here, not anywhere secluded mind you, where people go and literally fart around doin' donuts and all what not for hours at a time b4 the man shows up...so yeah..

back to the halos, well i figured i'd do the inner one's first since i think you won't really be able to see them with the headlights on ya know? or i could do the outer one's and you REALLY wouldn't see 'em w/the h.i.d.'s on. i will definately cruize w/the halos on when it's dusk and prolly just kill 'em when i smell bacon

will do on the pics!!

ok, so im buying a set of the halo headlights used from a friend, and some of the led's are burnt out,

so i sent him this how-to, and he says that there arent any led boards in them, but i have no idea what they look like as i havnt seen them yet

were supposed to replace the led's this saturday and put them in

so any clues as to what i need for them

do i still need the 3mm led's then?

any help is greatly appreciated

I have these exact headlights to install. this is a great thread on how to change colors of the LED lights pre installed. I thing My halo's will be wired to a switch for display even when the Parking lights are not on.
