haha, since LED's are so ridiculously cheap I'll try both out and see how noticeable the red is. :)

I did this. they look much better being brighter but I still don't like the quality of the headlight... Should of just saved up for some Hella's or Mach's.

Would orange rings be illegal? I think that would look pretty nice

I just finished installing mine and I had the same question. Would orange halos be illegal? Also I want to have orange leds running along the bottom of the side skirts. Would that be illegal? I know there are brake and light inspection stations but I think these are just for salvaged and custom built cars. Does anybody know where I can find information on these regulations? Truckers have running lights down their sides. Can we?

The bulbs are H1. You need 4 of them. I got silverstars from amazon for $25 or $30 for two if i remember right. If i had it to do over again i would use silverstars for the high beams and a 35 Watt HID conversion for the low beams. Ebay has H1 HID kits for $50. I think the seller is carbon innovations.

I was just looking at the same thing but I'm going a diff route. Check out kryptonbulbs.com. they have CCFL rings like the beemers for $20 per pair. I'm thinking of baking the headlight to seperate the lens fromthe housing, measuring the ring, and ordering some CCFLs to swap with the LED rings.
