Struts and Shocks for Stock SVT Springs

So. I have a 2005 ZX3. One of the first mods I did was SVT springs. Well, I finally killed the stock dampers. So I am trying to find a good replacement. I was dragging my feet on replacing these hoping that Bilstein would release an actual real Sport or HD replacement. So far, nothing.

So I need some opinions. So please don't tell me to get coil overs or lowering springs as I do rallycross this car from time to time (when not rally the Rabbit) and would rather stay in the class I am in.

So from what I can tell::
KYB GR2 is a descent mild upgrade from stock

What about these:
Spax V series
Sachs Super Gas
Eibach Pro

I am basically looking for something that will hold up a bit better and be a good bit stiffer. I'd really rather stay away from the lower priced single adjustable dampers like Koni and Spax make because I am notorious for killing those easily.

So, Opinions? Anything other brands that work well?

Well, 3 days and no answers. But no big deal. Seems that a lot of the milder spring upgrades are leading to Spax dampers being installed. So apparently they are a good bang for the buck. The only problem is, in 10 years of being a VW mechanic and building 2 VW rally cars, I never once came across the brand name Spax. So, I am a bit hesitant.

I did some searching around, and I can't find anyone using the Eiback pro dampers with stock springs. So maybe that is out, or maybe I am doing something out of the norm trying to stiffen the car up without upgrading springs.

I'll do more research soon and post results of whatever I choose.

I would go with the SVT kit, except a friend has had a problem with overheating the SVT struts on track or in a rally sprint.

After doing some research. Seems that of everything available, Koni Adjustables are the way to go. Unfortunately, I have a bad taste in my mouth with Koni after I used them on my rally car.

So, I contacted Spax and got the information on the VSX (which BAT calls V-Sport) and they are 30% stiffer dampening than the British stock focus strut, which seems a good bit stiffer than the american spec stock strut used on the non-SVT/ST cars.

Sachs and Eibach dampensers just don't seem up to the challenge of real performance driving, so I am going to steer clear of them.
