i want to throw a kit on my car and i am lookin to make some great gains in power. i have crower to cams and a few other mods. iam gettin a new intake and something like30lb injectors. i just have a lot of mods going into my car including a head p&p to 11:1 ratio.. what should i expect to do with a kit.. should i stick with a 50 like u tell everyone else and then see if i want a 75.. iam going to wait till i can afford all the proper safety parts for the kit.. what should i go with.. what wet kit is the best.. a kit that is very good and safe..

I like NX. I have used NX and NOS kits for years and am pleased with the performance of both..
An engine built right can take a 75 no problem as long as it can get enough fuel it will take a 100 shot and live...the easy thing is to start with a 50 and go up from there its easy to change out the jets once the kit is installed

might be a dumb question.. but, what are your thoughts on a 35-50 shot nx on an AUTOMATIC with intake, shorty header, and exhaust?? If safe, what kind of 1/4 mile gains can I expect with a sad 17.5 best time??

My car went from 17.2 to 15.8 from a 50 shot, I have since gone 15.4 with other issues....You should PM Sublime about your auto tranny He is on here, runs an auto himself and has some good info on them

Ok, after reading all this.... are there aftermarket fuel pump for the focus. I only ask because I have not run across any yet... though I could be looking in the wrong area.

That would be nice addition to compliment the system... the ablity to flow more fuel at higher engine loads and demands. This would allow the use of bigger jets, though timing and tuning are still an issue.

My .02 with a question

The fuel pump on the focus is actually pretty good to start with unless you get into some serious Mods.

Does the ZEX kit come with a fuel rail adaptor? I am looking into getting a ZEX kit with 55, 65, & 75 shot nozzles. What else would be needed for the kit, and where do I get the fittings needed to install the kit correctly to allow for the best set-up, I probably won't be going with a 75 shot (would be nice but would be afraid of harming my engine only has 5K miles on it right now) I will probably end up going with the 55 shot to be safe? On it all it says is Focus 2000-Current (doesn't specify if will work on SVT's or not) part #82021 $524.95 shipped. Is this a good deal or not? Theirs a ZEX dry kit for sale right now @ $400 shipped includes a purge valve, I would like to pick that up for that price but from what I read their is a GREAT chance of problems with dry kits.
