The MSD window switch reads just fine from one of the Coil On Plugs. Just have to make sure its set to 1 cylinder.

Hope these questions aren't too stupid, but why is the nitrogen molecule needed? What happens to it when it contacts the fuel? Couldn't pure oxygen be used?

Well, the reason they use nitrous oxide is that the oxygen molecule ( the extra one ) gets stripped off easily under heat and pressure ...Hmmmm, sounds like life inside of a cylinder, doesn't it ? And also, Nitrous is VERY stable and NON-flammable. Oxygen on the other hand is VERY flammable and quite the bomb, literally.

In regards to the ZEX traction control switch, it also does NOT need a tach driver.

I will have to do a write up to add to this thread, we have pics of my wet kit install, time slips for before and after, dyno runs on thursday, and I am also installing a progressive controller with A/F wide band, purge control, external shift light, dual stage control and ramping capability. It will be a whole conversion from a semi stock 2.0 Duratech, to a semi nos drag car, to an all out nitrous spitting monster.

Just trying to work out the window switch now, trying to figure of what rpm to spray at in each gear.

^^^ Sure, add pics and a long post if you like. Its all about info, and by no means have I done it all, or know it all. Any more CORRECT info is a good thing.
