i know 02 svt focus said his limiter was at 7200 but surely he will reach his tourque peek on his cams,,ive been told there no point in taking your limiter above the peak on your tourque range cause you basically bottom out,,or flat spot was the term..

Would A 65 Shot Be Alright On A SVT With 96K Miles That Shows No Problems. And If So, What Would Be Recommened To Do Engine Wise?

^^ Need a tune ( for an SVT especially), and colder plugs jet the fuel pill one step rich. Otherwise a normal install.

Would Tom's Tune Through The Predator Suffice? And What Kind Of Spark Plugs Are Reccomended? How About The Denso Iridium 1-Step Colder SVT Plugs. And Would There Be A Need For A J&S Ultra Safegaurd? And Would There Be Any Ill Side-Effetcs Of Running This Set-Up On The SVT? Any Long Term Effects?

Thanks,
John

I would personally use the one step colder COPPER motorcraft plugs. If Tom's tune through the predator is for a nitrous SHOT SPECIFICALLY. a STANDARD TUNE IS ALL WRONG FOR NITROUS. tHEY ARE VERY DIFFERENT. Oops, soory cap lock button.
Ill side-effects? Well there is always a possibility of breaking something. With the right tune you should be okay, but SVT's seem to be prone to valve failures with nitrous. I would call Tom and see what he thinks when you get the tune from him. He has more SVT experience than anyone. Maybe even Ford. LOL

Out of curiousity, if one was to install a window switch on a Duratec, do you need a FR tach driver? Or can it tap into the COP?

Hmmm, I can't say on a duratec. I haven't done one yet with a window switch. If you can find a pin out that will give you tach. signal, that is all you really need. I'm not sure with the individual coil on plug set-up...The older pill type window switch might not read it correctly, but the new digital one should be able to be adjusted for the COP.
