Hey thanks a lot for this information on the wet systems but i am a newb at modding cars so i will post a thread.

I just went through all the pages, and didnt see any mention of the system Saleen put in their cars. I know it is a 75 wet shot, but beyond that not much. I think it may have the rpm safety feature set around 3000. Not sure though. Do you know what safety features they put in it, or what should be added to it?

I don't remember what was on the Saleen. I did know, but it has slipped from my mind. Look at your nitrous solenoids. It should say on the label who they are from.

They said Pro Flo on them. Does that help?

if i choose not to get the window switch yet when should i shift? like a couple hundred rpm before the rev limiter?

Get the window switch. Its cheap....I think you would rather spend 40.00 on ebay than 3,000.00 on a blown engine.

Yes ^^^, but all it takes is one missed shift, one lack of concentration, not worth a couple of bucks as Tim said... I don't think this condom has a hole in it

Hello Viney...I've read this whole thread and got some useful info. I've got an 03 Ford Focus SPI and i'm very interested in getting a wet system. What do you recommed for the SPI and how does these engines take to it.

Thats the thing. Nitrous works on any engine. As long as the engine isn't too weak to take it. So yes, it will work just fine on an spi. From what I usnderstand the spi is a very stout engine and can take the abuse. Put a 50 HP shot on it and have fun. As you said, do wet shot, much better set-up IMO.

50 shot on the spi with out tuning is fine. I have run up to a 110 wet shot on the spi, but that was with tuning
