I know a guy who mixed NOS and turbo together on a stock motor it wasn't a pretty site on what happened when the shop tried to tune the turbo.Everything was installed proffesionaly
the nitro was first then the turbo,Then the repair bill of about ten grand to fix the motor so he could run both.

Mixing two power adders can be done, but it is tricky. Usually people go overboard for what the stock parts can handle. Also, the tune on something like that has to be just about perfect.

I have driven a turbo nitrous civic ( built motor ), where the nitrous would shut off at 7 lbs of boost from the turbo. Nice set-up, REAL fast too.

Can you paint the bottle? And is a 75 shot safe for a stock bottom end?

Paint it, yes its done all the time.

75 HP on a stock bottom?, yes, but several things need to be done to make sure the top end stays together. I would do a tune for a 75 shot and all the safety gear mentioned. Colder plugs, fuel switch etc.

O.K., I'm sold. Now, with a 2005 zx3 2.0L Duratec and the MTX:

Fuel pump OK for a 50 shot?
What about the factory clutch?
Any issues that have come up since this thread started?

I would get colder plugs if you're using nitrous. DO NOT USE PLATINUMS.

You should get part number: Motorcraft AZFS 22C F4.
