Is putting a turbo together worth it???

Hello boosted members of FF,
I wanted to know if it is worth it (Time, effort, money, smogging) in adding a turbo to my car. I have a 2.3L Duratec, Cosworth CAI, FocusSport Exhaust and CFM Throttle body for engine mods (Mileage 106,000). Looking into FSWerks kit to make it simple. Do some of you wish you never installed it and just bought a car with more power? Should I just do that? I love my Focus so I just need some feedback from the boosted experts. Thanks

FSW or topspeed kit and you'll be faster and a sleeper than probably 90% of the cars on the road, minus obvious ones.

The 2.3 is a great engine to turbo. Very responsive and very fun to be in. Can prolly hit 270whp at 9psi

With those kits would I need to upgrade anything else that is not in the kit?

Someone will chime in and have a better answer but looking at the websites of both kits a complete system seems to be available.

Ok so about another 1500 - 2000 on top of the kit price.

I boosted my ST at 107k and loved every mile of it. If you have the money (don't forget high octane fuel) then you won't be sorry. You will need a upgraded clutch (the stock one will last awhile if its in good shape), gauges and I would highly suggest full poly mounts.

You might get caught by CA smog and emissions by removing the stock header which includes the catalytic converter.

Wouldn't he also need to upgrade the fuel pump? I don't think that comes with the kit?

I know Injectors come with the kit.
