Moving To North Carolina

Well, it's official. I am moving to NC before the summer. Wife got a nice offer from her company, so were off to NC. Hope to see some wild Foci when I get there, and of course Tom's shop. We're actually open to where we move. The only stipulation is that we live in my wife's market, which consists of most of NC. I gotta find a job, then we'll move closer to it. Right now we're looking at the Greensboro area then out towards Cary. WIll be down there the weekend of the 23-25 this month to look around at apartments. If anyone has any "unbiased" ideas on some nice areas and neighborhoods to look, please let me know. Looking forward to moving back to NC, my i lived in Goldsboro for 7 years when my dad was stationed at the "Shady J" (Seymour Johnson AFB).
Anyway, hope to see you foci nuts soon. lol

Hey man i just moved here to NC a couple months back. We live in Adam's Farm in Greensboro now. It's a real nice neighborhood. I don't know if your looking for apartments or homes, but there are both here and the area is beautiful. Great for families and all. Since i've been here i love it. Anyway, good luck with the move!

^^^ Thanks. We were actually in Ashboro a month ago and looked around then. We are going to look for an apartment house for rent for now and then buy within a year. I hope it's better than the Balt-Wash area, but I am certain it will be. To much violence and craziness up this way, everybody is in a hury. Crazy.

If you need to know anything about the Cary area let me know I've been here for 22 years so I can point you to good areas. We don't have much crime here that's for sure.

Sonic- my wife and I are actually looking at apartments in Cary this weekend. I think we're leaning towards that area. I actually have a list of apartments to look at. I hate looking at apartments lol

Stratford, Crabtree Crossing, Northwoods, Legends at Preston, Colonial Grand are a few.

well i live right next to Friendly acres in brassfield and that is a very nice area for homes kinda expensive but i dont know what ur price range is but anywhere away from downtown is good lol

but aparment wise try right off of new garden not sure the name but very nice and off of west market these condos pretty nice called the street name is richland

all the ones you named I know of, those are all nice places. Stratford I'd say has the best location. It's right near US-1. Just be advised, if you move to Cary you will be within 15 miles of a nuke plant. (Shearon Harris). Only metro area without one close in the state is Greensboro/Winston as far as I know.
