Svtoa

SVTOA = SVT Owner's Association
www.svtoa.com

I received a mailer from these guys yesterday. I guess because I bought mine new. I received a 1 year membership as part of the purchase. I let it expire ($47/yr US, $52/yr CAN). It seems like a professional group. Here's some highlights of what membership does for you:

+Subscription to the ALL-NEW official club publication, SVT Enthusiast
+How-To and Technical advice from former SVT/SVE engineers
+Insider stories, product histories and original photography on every SVT vehicle
+Special discounts on official SVT merchandise and Certificates of Authenticity
+Participation at Regional SVTOA On Track driving events nationwide
+NEW: Annual SVTOA National Convention (this year held in conjunction with the SAAC Convention July 6-7-8-9, 2007, at Miller Motorsports Park, Utah)
+NEW: Access to SPECIAL features planned for www.SVTOA.com
+NEW: Inclusion in the OFFICIAL Ford-recognized SVT Vehicle Registry

Just thought I'd post up for any of you guys who might have purchased pre-owned SVTs and might not know about this.

i got one in the mail a few days ago too and i just threw it away last night cleaning my dresser off a bit. the g2g's would be cool though. i think they have autox and road course racing sometimes. that would be really fun with other SVT owners

Got one as well on the 10th.
The "On Track" events would well be worth the price of admission.
However, there sure as heck aren't going to be any in this part of the country.

I like how on the cover is reads "Love Performance Fords?"
yes i do, but there arent any!!!!!!!! You F'ers got rid of them all!

^^^LOL! I thought the same thing when I read that.

So SVT is getting their own magaizne again?
When I started getting "Inside the Blue Oval" or whatever it was called instead of the old magazine I just threw it away without reading it.

^^^Yep.
It says, "Subscription to the ALL-NEW official club publication, SVT Enthusiast".

Here's a write up from the SVTOA forums:

I never got anything for buying my SVTF new... I did get the build certificate, but I didn't get any of the magazines and anything else I should have received. Am I complaining? Not really, I'm happy I got the certificate!
