A few questions...how fast is a stock mustang gt, cobra, and modified svtf's?

How fast is a stock 03/04 mustang gt? (1/4)
how fast is a stock 03/04 cobra?
same for the new 05/06 gt's?

And for those of you with blowers or turbos on your svt's what do you dyno and what do you run 1/4 mile? (I know that is kind of a forced induction chat question).

I have seen a few lightly modded gt's (03's or so) running around and was just wondering what they are capable of stock or with basic mods.

I have been wanting some sort of FI for awhile now (always like the jrsc with bbk) and with the new xios turbo out @ almost 300hp to the wheels it seems like that should be able to tackle 90% of cars on the road as long as you can get it to hook up.

This is just kind of a random thread so any input anyone has ill take!

If you want alot of power, then a JRSC even with BBK isn't for you. They max out around 220whp and about 180wtq max.

ya the jrsc with bbk is just nice because of the price. I think it would complement the svt suspension nicely. I am not all about drag racing or anything but sometimes I just wish my car could compete when just playing around.
bmxer have you ever taken yours to the track, or happen to know what jrsc bbk equipped svt usually run?

How fast is a stock 03/04 mustang gt? (1/4) trap speeds 90-100mph probly bolt-ons

how fast is a stock 03/04 cobra? there is no such thing as a stock cobra, expect 110-115mph traps at least

same for the new 05/06 gt's? trap speeds 97-103mph

the above are observed trap speeds that i have personaly seen at local test in tunes. real drivers not magazine crap.

In comparison my focus on a typical florida day trapped 87-88mph. In other words. OWNED by all the above. There better at maintaining and shedding momentum and not so much gaining it, heh.

LOL at stock cobra.....yeah, it's hard to find one of those......

I have been wondering why no one posts times with thier boosted cars...everyone puts up picts, some post dyno #'s, but no one goes to the track and posts up time slips and such....I know when my car gets boosted, I am gonna go nuts at the track......AND post times.....

Usually 03/04 mustang gt's average in the mid to low 14's stock. I've seen a guy with just an I/E do a 13.6. But he was really good.

Stock 03/04 cobras can probably do a high 12. Never seen a stock one though. Most at the track I go to run high 9's to low 12's.

I've seen stock 05/06 gt's do 13.5 with a really good driver. Most get low 14's though
