Albany N.Y Area - GTG? Dyno? ???

Anyone from the Capital area interested in doing something?

Lebanon Valley Dragway doesn't open 'till April 14th.

What's the closest dyno to our area?

Or, we can just do a GTG.

Speak up!

That's cool, 'cept there isn't a dyno in the Capital Distric area.

There's a Dynapack "hub" type dyno nearby, but I was really interested in a standard "roller" type dyno.

And there's a roller dyno 2 minutes from where I live, but they only cater to RWD vehicles.

So last time I checked, I believe there was one in you area of Syracuse.

LOL

Maybe we should come to your area.

For me, looks like most of them will be a 100 mile drive. :-(

Maybe I should consider Synapse Motorsports again (the Dynopack wheel hub dyno):

http://www.synapsemotorsport.com/

But here is why I'd prefer to go to a roller dyno (this was a comparo posted on Synapse's Forum by a customer who ran his car on their hub dyno vs. a roller dyno):

old tune
dynojet - 220whp
dynopack - 214whp

dynopack read 3% lower!

new tune
dynojet - 229.82
dynopack - 206

dynopack read 10% lower!

Hmmm.

we could get a gtg here and go the a dyno and such and then in spring we can head your way to drag race make it fair. just an idea to throw out there. theres a ton to do in Syracuse lots of bars and such its small and easy to get around in. it would be 100 times better if we could get some people from like buffalo area or rochester so your not the only one travling. im just throwing ideas out there. if theres any ya like let me know but im game for anything.

I'm Game!

<Clifton Park>

I think I see a red ST around now and then. Do you ever get it washed at Hoffman's on route 9 next to red robin?

Another Red ST?

The dealer told me I had the only one!

LOL

No, I'm in the Schenectady - Rotterdam area. Never been to the Hoffman's on Rt. 9.

I'm glad you and 2nd_to_none are "in" for a Foci GTG, Dyno, or "whatever."

Let's keep the idea of doing this going!

Any other peeps interested as well?

Actually, now that i think of it, the one I see doesn't have the SAP. I don't know of anyone else around into the focus, but I have a couple of friends without foci that would probably meet up with us. (vette, GTS celica, eclipse, 350z)

It's all good!

I'll even give the 350z a head start in a quick run ...

LOL
