JRSC BBK + 2.25" exhaust...what do you think?

Would it work alright? I've read that 200+hp should have a 2.5" exhaust, but I don't think the JRSC BBK gets that high...

Tell me what you think please. Would rather not buy a whole new exhaust setup if I don't have to. $$$

A 2.5" exhaust would benefit the BBK setup. I would recommend redoing the entire exhaust, though. A higher flow manifold backed up with larger piping would be the best way to go for better performance. If you just change the piping, than the stock mani becomes a bottleneck.

Well yeah, what I would do is get the svt header kit, orp, 2.25" flex, and then resonate the one section of my magnaflow...obviously that would be cheaper than replacing my exhaust system...how much of a benefit are we talking here?

Yeah I remember you telling me that but I just wanted to see what everybody's opinion was overall...if need be I can replace my exhaust and sell the one I have I guess, but it would just be more work...is it really worth it?

If you dont have emmissions checks I would do a long tube header... then worry about the cat-back.

You can always upgrade it in the future. I would seriously consider a 3" exhaust since you're going with FI.

I've had people tell me that a 3" exhaust is pointless with only 200hp and/or no turbo...
