sickly horn

So last night i was out cuisin around wih some friends. I saw a guy I know walkin down the street and went to honk my horn at him. The sound that was emmited from my car can not be described as anything else but sickly... If the horn is electric (which I'm pretty sure its gotta be, but dont know for sure cuz I've never felt he need to mess around with it before) it sounds as if the power source its running off of is goin seriously low. Where would I find he actual horn on the car? Is there a spot which could've got clogged or blocked to mufle the sound? do car horns just wear out somtimes?

any suggegtions would be great.... I already miss scaring the shit out of people with the panic buton.....

its been really dry here for a few weeks, so i doubt its that............ but then again, after typing that, i did wash and wax the car yesterday afternoon. i still cant find where the actual horn is, but near as i can tell is somewhere below/behind the driver side headlight. i did spend alot of time scrubin down th front rims (damn brake dust..), so i suppose water is possiblity. and the horn does sound alot better this morning. not quite normal, but a lot better....

You're right about the horn location....my buddy does that with his alarm too. he also sets it off with the keychain. It probably wouldn't make people jump if it wasn't loud as hell!!! This little prank works best at work.
