To Change or Not to Change the Timing Belt?

Getting ready to install FR head and have heard people mention that while you're in there to go ahead and change the timing belt. What is the expected life for a timing belt? My car has about 57K miles on it, should I change the timing belt or is it money not well spent at this stage?

Change it! It would be money well spent.

The Ford suggested change interval is 120,000 miles, but I'd agree...you're going to be taking it off anyways, might as well replace it while you're in there.
