replacing seats, what to do with sensors/plugs?

What do i do with the sensors on the bottom of the stock seats when i put in my racing seats? The airbag light turned on. Wounding if anyone else has dealt with this.

I put in Corbeaus, and I just left the stock harness on the floorboard lol. Probably the wrong way to do it, but meh. Racecar.

im trying to figure out what to do with the airbag sensor on the stock seat rails. should i just take it off those, plug it in and let it dangle under the seat?

cut a set of plug ends off the seats of a junkyard foci and use them to wire up a set of resistors. I dont know how many ohms you need but here's an idea on what needs to happen:

Will your new seats have airbags in them?

no they don't they are some 1 piece sparco seats. there is the big plug under the seat that 2 cords plug into. 1 is the belt/chime. and the other plug connects to the rail, not sure what this one is. my guess is something to do with the steering wheel airbag.

That is the seat position sensor. It tells the air bag how much to inflate.
As Buickboy said, you can get resistors to replace the missing portions of the SRS, which tricks the SRS module in to believing that all components are present and accounted for.
Remember, if the air bag light is on, the entire SRS is off.

If you sit all the way back, no-harm-no-foul: the airbag will inflate as hard as it can (seat all the way back).

I've been trying to figure a solution for this since installing wanna-be sparcos... If you unbolt the sensor and plug it in it'll at least shut that light off. I need to reverse-engineer the seat track to see what the Hall-Effect sensor is reading. Once I know that, it's just a matter of placing the sensor's track on the new seat rails.

That way, there's still some semblance of streetable function to the damn thing!
