There are 25 pages...

Looks like the only one's that fade are the panted versions. High temp paint will burn off or flake if you dont prep the surface right. Not the silicone seal isnt required, if you soak the wrap in water and wrap it tight you shouldnt need it.

White or black wrap. Silver was painted on.

I want to know more about the grinding...

FYI...there are 8 pages if you change the posts per page in your user setups...Still the same numb of posts....over 300!

I cut my mounting tabs off. I just got a cut off wheel and cut the welds, then hit the tabs lightly with a hammer. I did not smooth the welds off cause you cant even see it when it is wrapped.

Got all the parts.. I need to replace my oil pan gasket too, so Im going to do the wrap when I get the gasket delivered.

Just started mine tonight!! Will prolly finish up tomorrow. So if I spray on the silicone paint..after it cures can i spray on a high temp paint. I wanted to paint them bronze, but if the hi-temp paint is just gonna flake off, then I guess not. :(

All Done. I let the silicone paint dry overnight. Still wondering if the bronze paint will flake if i paint it over the black...anybody tried this yet????

I'm thinking of painting my valve cover bronze as well to match the headers.

What do you guys think?
