I wrapped mine and sprayed it black like 3 months ago. Already fading. Looks like butt.

I did the header on my Mazda 4x4 with the black wrap a couple of years ago and it is holding up fine. I had the money this time to get the ceramic coated header for my Focus. I'll send pics when I'm done with it.

my HFC bombed itself when we did the wideband install (insides came loose so we removed the cat), so I will be wrapping that during the rebuild to keep the oil pan temps down a lil bit.

I cant do the heat sheild. Its just to ugly for me. I will respray mine if I go with a SC this summer. If I go turbo I want to wrap the manifold but I kinda want the copper color.

I am always scared with my ORP. I always think I might get pulled over for it and get in big trouble haha. I think about adding a HFC to it. If I dont then I will wrap the ORP this summer too.

heatshield looks horrid. I hate having it there but I don't feel like wrapping it so it must stay

Catch 22 I suppose.

Read all 8 pages and I am so confused. Recap?
1. Black wrap fades and will come off on your hands during installation.
2. If you "paint" the wrap with hi temp paint, it will fade?
3. Is the silicon "seal" required and if you do that how does the paint stick?
4. Grind or not to grind of the shield mounts? I say grind.
5. Is there silver wrap or was it painted silver?

I am going to do this when I install my high flow cat. So I need to have all of the materials ready to go.
Dan
